 Handrails
Mission Mountain Handrails are made from lodgepole pine and can be
purchased in standard sizes or custom lengths. They can be erected by
the owner or a contractor. We will send step by step instructions and
we can be reached by phone or email for additional directions.
Handrails
are available in two rail (standard) or 3 rail pattern. The standard
rail lengths are 3', 4', 5' and 8' lengths and are in heights of 42".
 Chinking by Weatherall
Chinking can be factory
applied or purchased in bulk. There are 7 choices of chinking colors.
Weatherall supplies a superior log sealant of latex acrylics that dries
to form an elastic, mortar-textured, and durable surface which requires
little or no maintenance. This chinking is flexible and forms a
weather-tight seal. It is non-toxic, fungus resistant and fire
resistant.
We have a rental Chinking
Machine available for larger cabins or a Chinking Handgun for camper
cabins if you are a do-it-yourselfer.
 Stains
Water-based UV Guard by
Weatherall: scientifically designed to protect and preserve the
intrinsic beauty and strength of natural wood. UV (ultraviolet)
absorbers and stabilizers effectively resist the sun's harmful rays.
Weatherall penetrates and seals the log surface and repels water,
resists warping, swelling and cracking. It contains a biocide that
resists unsightly discoloration caused by mold and mildew. It is safe
for interior and exterior use.
Weatherall UV Guard is available in 11 transparent stains or in a clear
finish. For greatest protection the recommended application is a base
coat followed by a clear finish coat.
Brazilian Rosewood oil based Penofin is a product that penetrates deep
into the wood to harden and stabilize fibers while allowing the wood to
breath. Penofin doesn't yellow or darken with age and has no film to
trap moisture, crack or peel. It protects against UV (ultraviolet)
fading with microscopically ground strategic metal pigments which
reflect 90 percent of the damaging UV rays of sunlight. Penofin treated
wood retains its freshly milled look. Penofin is available in 9
transparent and semi-transparent finishes.
